Meet Jeb Thorne, born on a low-gravity colony planet and raised in a Protestant community. He lived there until he got tired of it and hitchhiked on the first available cargo out when he was 16, from there discovering sex, drugs, and all other kinds of hedonism. He joined the military for a thrill and ended up growing half a brain along the way. When they figured out he was halfway good at sneaking even for a kid as tall as he was, they threw him into the Intelligence branch when he was three-quarters done with Tactical school. From there he became a man of many guises, the everyman who stood out just enough to not ask questions about him, artificial enough for people to not take him seriously, and smooth and cool enough to get in with the top folks and listen in on their conversations as a casual, 'harmless' observer.

Bored once again, at the age of 25 he went back to finish up his fighter training and has gone back out into the fleet as a jack of all trades, master of none, at the ripe old age of 26; young enough to be attractive, old enough to be smart.

He likes sex, drugs, and loud music, and is decidedly non-picky about what kinds or what circumstances he gets these things under. He dislikes overly controlling people and enjoys more laid-back relationships (aka, ones he can sleep around in). Almost always either has a cigarette or a beer or both, and is willing to be the supplier of either.
